Tag 26: Neuseeland (31.10.06)
Diesmal sind wir in der Frueh wirklich von Rotura aufgebrochen. Allerdings veschlafen. Wir wollten um 7 Uhr aufstehen, der Wecker ist aber schon um 6 Uhr losgegangen, was wir erst bemerkt haben, als wir schon angezogen waren.
Nach einem kleinen Nickerchen gings ab zu dem guten Fruehstuecksplatz von gestern und danach zum Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland.
Dort haben wir eine halbe Stunde gewartet und einen Geysir zu bewundern, der kuenstlich ausgeloest wird (mit Seife). Aber zumindest hat er geblasen und wir haben einen Gezsir gesehen. Danach wieder auf die Wanderung durch das eigentliche "Wonderland".
War toll. Blubbernde Schlammloecher, neongruene Teiche, schwefelgelbe Wasserfaelle und so weiter. Wir haben so viele Fotos gemacht wie schon lang nimmer. Und lustig wars.
Nur kann man allerdings net sagen, dass wir an der "frischen Luft" waren, denn pestilenzioeser hats noch an keinem Ort gerochen. Erst mal brauche ich keine Eier zum Essen!!
Nach dieser Wanderung gings weiter Richtung Sueden. Wir haben uns fuer die Richtung entschieden, in der wir Wellington anfahren. Vorraussichtlich haben wir sehr viel Zeit, deshalb haben wir heute schon frueh in der Stadt Taupo gestoppt um einen gemuetlichen Nachmittag & Abend zu verbringen.
Jetzt also sitzen wir in einem Internetkaffee und werden uns nachher in ein Restaurant schmeissen, in dem man KROKODIL essen kann. Strauss hab ich ja schon mal gekostet, jetzt gehts dem Krokodil an den Kragen *hehe*
